Blue Stoneware Candle Holder

These figurine candleholders are an ongoing experimental series from ALIWE, where each candleholder is a unique functional sculpture with a character of its own. They are inspired by fairytales, circus, antiques, tribal art and dream-world. Each candle holder is slowly built using hand-building techniques from stoneware clay.  

Each candle holder is handmade in a countryside home studio in Denmark and one-of-a-kind. Small imperfections are celebrated as a part of handmade nature.
